OMG. Raised from sound sleep by the sound of me searching for food in the frig. He gets excited when I get ready to feed myself because scraps of crunchy raw veggies are his treat. I hope it is not supposed to hurt him. 13 years and 2 months and counting.

I have 4 "rescued" Basset Hounds that I adopted from Wyoming Basset Hound Rescue in Cody, Wyoming. Molly (7 years old), Mary Jane (12 years old), Diego (I adopted him 2 years ago, he is 13 years old), and Chloe (She is missing her front left leg, she is about 4 years old) I love them all !!!

I love my Rosie. She is a two year old Red and White Basset. She is like a room mate, my pal. I've become completly deaf and she knows and gets me to answer the door. She listens for me.
I haven't had success at trying to find a hearing trainer for her; no body wants to try to train a Basset. Breed profiled!

The perfect child is a Basset Hound. I have a bumper sticker on my car that says that too and I truly believe that. My last Basset passed away in July of 2010. Delilah was wonderful. She was a bit difficult as a puppy but a great dog trainer helped us get over her stuborness. She turned out to be wonderful. Bassets are the best dogs.

I walk my Molly and Milly 2 times a day. Believe me they do need the exercise. Molly is a good friend of Milly's. Molly is a Puggle (Pug and Beagle mixed)6 years old. Milly is my 3 year old Basset and she is so comical. I love them both to death. They both are so funny together. I love my Puppy's more than I do some people.
